Nursing Department Manager

This senior-level position involves overseeing the nursing department at Scout Healthcare Staffing, ensuring that all patients receive exceptional care and support.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of nurses, developing policies and procedures, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to achieve outstanding patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage the nursing team to deliver high-quality patient care
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless patient care coordination
- Mentor and educate nurses to enhance their skills and knowledge
- Contribute to the development of business strategies to drive growth and improve patient outcomes
- Proven experience as a nurse leader, preferably in a hospital setting
- Strong understanding of medical software and equipment
- Familiarity with CMS inspections/guidelines is an asset
- BLS/ACLS/PALS certification required
- Exceptional problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
