Nursing Department Head

We are seeking a Nursing Department Head to oversee our nursing team in a rural healthcare hospital setting. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced nurse leader to join our team and contribute to providing high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of nurses, promoting a culture of excellence and patient-centered care.
- Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with physicians, other healthcare professionals, and facility leadership to achieve shared goals and objectives.
- Conduct regular audits and quality assessments to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate records and reports, providing data-driven insights to inform decision-making.
Requirements:
- At least 7 years of experience in a nursing leadership role, preferably in a hospital setting.
- ER experience is highly desirable.
- BLS/ACLS/PALS certification is required.
- Familiarity with medical software and equipment is essential.
Compensation:
The estimated annual salary for this position is $140,000-$170,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
