Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Floor Staff Associate to join our team at Regal Entertainment. As a key member of our theatre team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience in our cinemas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Box Office Operations
    • Operate the point-of-sale system, ensuring accuracy and handling cash, credit cards, and other forms of payment.
    • Upsell and suggest premium viewing experiences, such as 3D, RPX, and IMAX.
    • Promote the Regal Crown Club program and ensure tickets are sold in accordance with MPAA rating systems and company policies.
    • Respond to guest inquiries and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Concession Stand Operations
    • Operate the point-of-sale system, ensuring accuracy and handling cash, credit cards, and other forms of payment.
    • Promote the Regal Crown Club program and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal food safety laws.
    • Operate, prepare, and clean concession-related equipment.
    • Upsell and suggest concession items.
    • Ensure required alcohol certification and training are current, where applicable.
  • Usher Operations
    • Tear tickets, collect and deposit stubs, and direct patrons to their auditoriums.
    • Inspect backpacks and packages, when applicable.
    • Manage crowd control and assist guests in finding seats in auditoriums.
    • Enforce MPAA rating systems and conduct in-theatre inspections to monitor picture and sound quality.
    • Report any problems, discrepancies, or unusual situations to management.
    • Perform in-auditorium concession auxiliary sales, as directed by management.
    • Clean auditoriums, restrooms, lobby areas, hallways, and other areas outside of the auditorium.
    • Monitor the cleanliness and operation of theatre vending equipment.
    • Assist with opening and closing duties, as assigned by management.
    Requirements
    • Education/Experience
      • Completion of cast certification program as a cast member and box office cashier, or progress towards completion.
      • Required alcohol certification and training, where applicable.
    • Language Ability
      • Possess good public speaking, listening, and communication skills.
    • Math Ability
      • Perform calculations with speed and accuracy, and identify and correct errors.
    • Reasoning Ability
      • Identify problems, gather relevant data, and note possible causes of problems.
      • Evaluate relevant information, recognize alternatives, and reach conclusions based on evidence.
      • Take action beyond what is necessarily called for.
      • Perform under pressure and/or opposition.
    • Personal Skills
      • Possess excellent communication skills with customers, co-workers, and management.
      • Establish goals, budget time, and set priorities to achieve desired objectives.
    • Physical Demands
      • Frequently required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear.
      • Occasionally required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
      • May occasionally be required to lift up to 60 pounds.
