Job Summary

As a Radiology Imaging Specialist at Aequor Technologies, you will be responsible for operating MRI equipment to capture diagnostic images of patients. You will prepare patients for MRI procedures, explaining the process and positioning them correctly for accurate imaging. Your role will also involve monitoring and assessing patients during MRI procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety while adhering to all safety protocols. Additionally, you will maintain detailed and accurate records of procedures, including patient data, imaging results, and any observed abnormalities. You will collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret and analyze images, ensuring accurate diagnosis and treatment plans. Your expertise in MRI imaging procedures, equipment operation, and safety protocols will be essential in providing high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Operate MRI equipment to capture diagnostic images of patients.
  • Prepare patients for MRI procedures, explaining the process and positioning them correctly for accurate imaging.
  • Monitor and assess patients during MRI procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety while adhering to all safety protocols.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of procedures, including patient data, imaging results, and any observed abnormalities.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret and analyze images, ensuring accurate diagnosis and treatment plans.

Requirements
  • Strong understanding of MRI imaging procedures, equipment operation, and safety protocols.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
  • Proficiency with computers and radiology information systems (RIS) for accurate data entry and image management.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and positioning patients, operating MRI equipment, and standing for extended periods.
  • Certification as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) with a specialization in MRI (ARRT-MR).
  • Active [STATE] Radiology Technologist License in good standing.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Radiology Tech - MRI or in a similar role.
  • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
  • Certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
  • Experience with EPIC or similar charting systems.
