We are seeking an exceptional Nurse Manager to oversee our department of frontline nurses in our 600-bed acute care facility. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for communicating the organization's goals and vision to the nursing staff while advocating for their needs and concerns.

Our level II trauma center is a regional referral center for cardiology, trauma, behavioral health, cancer care, neurosciences, and other specialties. We have been consistently named by US News & World Report as one of the State's best hospitals, with high performance in heart care, colorectal surgery, and joint replacement.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing a department of nurses to ensure they have the necessary resources to deliver excellent patient care
  • Engaging with the nursing staff, patients, and families to stay informed about departmental operations
  • Attending meetings with leadership to stay updated on new initiatives and budgetary matters
  • Mentoring nurse managers-in-training to develop their leadership skills

To thrive in this role, you must possess:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing and a Registered Nurse License in good standing (State of Arkansas or compact state)
  • At least 5 years of nursing experience in an acute care setting, with critical care experience preferred
  • 3-5 years of clinical leadership experience, preferably in a similar setting
