Position Summary: The Facilities Maintenance Technician plays a crucial role within the Operations Team, ensuring the upkeep of the facility and production machinery. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine maintenance on facility systems.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Ensure all equipment meets company standards for performance and safety.
- Assist with equipment transitions and ensure production machinery is operational.
- Evaluate maintenance processes to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Perform a variety of tasks to maintain equipment and machinery.
- Monitor and service HVAC systems, boilers, and compressed air systems.
- Diagnose and resolve equipment issues, performing necessary repairs and preventive maintenance.
- Support maintenance activities at various company locations as required.
- Assist with grounds upkeep and snow removal when necessary.
- Manage parts inventory to ensure availability.
- Complete assigned work orders and maintain accurate records.
- Adhere to safety protocols and operational best practices.
- Stay informed about advancements in technology relevant to the role.
- Comply with all company regulations and policies.
Qualifications:
- Refrigeration/HVAC certification is preferred.
- 2-5 years of experience in industrial maintenance is required.
- 1+ years of mechanical and electrical experience is preferred.
- Experience in troubleshooting and preventive maintenance is advantageous.
- Demonstrated mechanical and technical skills are essential.
- Basic computer proficiency is required.
- Personal hand tools may be necessary.
Training Requirements:
- Ongoing education to maintain certifications and knowledge of new technologies.
