Position Summary: The Facilities Maintenance Technician plays a crucial role within the Operations Team, ensuring the upkeep of the facility and production machinery. Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine maintenance on facility systems.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment.

  • Assist with grounds upkeep and snow removal when necessary.

  • Stay informed about advancements in technology relevant to the role.
  • Comply with all company regulations and policies.

Qualifications:

  • Refrigeration/HVAC certification is preferred.
  • 2-5 years of experience in industrial maintenance is required.
  • 1+ years of mechanical and electrical experience is preferred.
  • Experience in troubleshooting and preventive maintenance is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated mechanical and technical skills are essential.
  • Basic computer proficiency is required.
  • Personal hand tools may be necessary.

Training Requirements:

  • Ongoing education to maintain certifications and knowledge of new technologies.
  • Orientation for new hires.
  • Safety training programs.
  • Diversity and harassment training.
  • Forklift operation training.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Work may involve heights, confined spaces, and outdoor conditions.
  • Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
  • Job requires mobility, including walking and using hands for various tasks.
  • Vision requirements include close vision and the ability to focus on small components.
