Job Summary:

Cold Stone Creamery is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Manager to join our team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for leading and developing our team of employees to deliver exceptional customer service and drive sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Train and Develop Employees: Provide coaching and guidance to employees to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles.
  • Delegate Tasks and Monitor Performance: Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members and monitor their performance to ensure they are meeting expectations.
  • Lead by Example: Demonstrate a strong work ethic and lead by example, setting high standards for yourself and your team.
  • Manage Inventory and Cash Handling: Ensure that inventory levels are properly managed and that cash handling procedures are followed to prevent losses.
  • Staffing and Scheduling: Ensure that the store is properly staffed and that schedules are created to meet business needs.

Requirements:

  • Previous Management Experience: A minimum of 1-2 years of management experience in a fast-paced retail or food service environment.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with employees, customers, and management.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
