Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tax Manager to join our team at GPAC. As a Tax Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the Tax Planning and Compliance process for a portfolio of clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Tax Planning and Compliance: Oversee the Tax Planning and Compliance process for a portfolio of clients, ensuring accurate and timely completion of tax returns and financial statements.
  • Guide and Mentor Tax Professionals: Provide guidance and mentorship to a team of tax professionals, helping them to develop their skills and expertise.
  • Stay Up-to-Date on Tax Laws and Regulations: Conduct research and stay updated on changing Tax Laws and Regulations, ensuring that clients are in compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Develop Tax Strategies: Assist in the development of Tax Strategies that meet the needs of clients, helping them to minimize their tax liability and maximize their financial returns.
  • Review Tax Returns and Financial Statements: Review tax returns and financial statements with accuracy, ensuring that all necessary information is included and that all tax laws and regulations are complied with.
Requirements
  • 5+ Years of Public Accounting Experience: We are seeking a Tax Manager with 5+ years of proven experience in public accounting, with a strong background in tax planning and compliance.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting: A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting is required, with a strong understanding of tax laws and regulations.
  • CPA Certification: CPA certification is preferred, with a strong understanding of tax laws and regulations.
  • Ability to Utilize Firm Technology: The ability to utilize firm technology to enhance client services is essential, with a strong understanding of tax software and systems.
Benefits
  • Competitive Salary Range: A competitive salary range of $95,000 - $150,000, depending on experience.
