Machining Estimation Specialist

Location: Indianapolis, IN

Shift: 1st Shift (7am-330pm) - Onsite

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate incoming machinery and components to ascertain the extent of work required and identify necessary repairs or replacements.
  • Research and quote prices for replacement components needed for repairs.
  • Draft comprehensive quotes and estimates for clients, including the creation of Job Tickets for workshop activities.
  • Produce a Troubleshooting Analysis Report along with a Repair Estimate.
  • Notify the Operations Manager and clients of any defects, rework, missed inspections, job delays, or other concerns as necessary.
  • Examine inspection records for precision and thoroughness.
  • Update the Job Status Report within the ERP System and liaise with the team regarding deliverables.
  • Exhibit professionalism and courtesy in all interactions.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in the Machining Repair and Service sector
  • Background in Estimating and Service Documentation
  • Capability to interpret complex schematics and utilize precision measuring tools
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 standards
