The ideal candidate will ensure that our premises are safe and functional, managing a team of professionals and coordinating with other departments to guarantee timely and effective maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for multiple restaurants in a given geographic territory
  • Develop and implement maintenance policies and procedures to ensure seamless operations
  • Plan and oversee all repair and installation activities to minimize downtime and disruptions
  • Ensure all maintenance operations are in compliance with health and safety regulations, such as OSHA standards
  • Coordinate maintenance schedules to optimize resource allocation and reduce costs
  • Manage relationships with contractors and service providers to ensure high-quality services
  • Supervise and lead a team of maintenance technicians and custodial staff to achieve exceptional results
  • Monitor and manage maintenance budgets to ensure cost-effective operations and maximize ROI
  • Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify and resolve issues promptly
  • Keep maintenance logs and report on daily activities to inform strategic decisions
  • Perform preventative maintenance programs to extend equipment life and reduce maintenance costs

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Maintenance Operations Director or similar role in the restaurant food service industry
  • Strong knowledge of facilities machines and equipment, including fryers, flat top griddles, warmers, refrigeration, HVAC, plumbing, tile, and general building repair work
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills to manage multiple priorities and teams
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities to build strong relationships with stakeholders
  • In-depth understanding of maintenance procedures and systems, including CMMS software
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and maintenance management software
  • Ability to work well under pressure and handle emergency situations effectively

Preferred Skills:

  • Certification in facilities management, such as CFM or FMP
  • Experience in the restaurant food service industry, with specific knowledge of fryers, flat top griddles, warmers, refrigeration, HVAC, plumbing, tile, and general building repair work
  • Knowledge of OSHA and other relevant safety regulations
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to drive business growth and improvement
