Job Title: Clinical Dietitian

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Dietitian to join our team at Bay Area Hospital. As a Clinical Dietitian, you will provide high-quality nutrition care to patients and staff, working collaboratively with healthcare teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Provide clinical nutrition support and education to patients and staff
  • Operate various medical equipment, including calculators, computers, and medical devices
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient safety programs
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Food Nutrition or Dietetics from an accredited institution
  • Current licensure as a Registered Dietitian in the State of Oregon
  • Experience in clinical or community nutrition, preferably with a focus on hospital settings
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Nutrition or a related field
  • Experience with electronic medical records and other healthcare software
  • Certifications in nutrition support, diabetes education, or oncology nutrition
