We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Radiologic Technologist to join our Faculty Group Practice team at NYULMC. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for performing medically prescribed radiographic procedures with the highest level of accuracy and patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all necessary supplies are readily available.
- Perform radiographic procedures with precision and attention to detail, adhering to established protocols and guidelines.
- Collaborate with medical staff to ensure accurate and timely completion of radiographic exams.
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of radiology information systems and hospital information systems.
- Ensure confidentiality and maintain patient records in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
- Participate in quality control checks and maintenance of radiographic equipment.
- Develop and maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with patients, medical staff, and other colleagues.
- Certificate from an accredited School of Radiologic Technology.
- New York State license or temporary permit to practice Diagnostic Radiology.
- Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of experience in radiologic technology.
- College graduate.
