Job Summary: RAYUS Radiology is seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for operating scanners to produce high-quality images of patients' bodies for diagnostic purposes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Patient Imaging: Screen patients before exams for any precautions or contraindications, using two patient identifiers to ensure correct patient and procedure.
  • Imaging Procedures: Explain and prepare patients for scanning imaging procedures, positioning patients for optimal image quality.
  • Scanning and Imaging: Perform routine and advanced scanning imaging procedures on designated portions of the body, providing patient support throughout the procedure.
  • Image Quality and Safety: Adjust scanning parameters correctly, utilizing dose reduction techniques as appropriate, and maintain a positive attitude and working relationships with radiologists and other associates.
  • Record Keeping and Maintenance: Accurately maintain patient records within the Radiology Information System (RIS) and maintain an orderly and clean work area.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Scanning Department Support: Assist with maintaining an updated imaging protocol manual, monitor medical supply inventory, and request supplies as necessary.
  • Training and Development: Assist with training of new associates, providing resource and technical expertise as applicable.

Requirements:

  • Education and Certification: High school diploma or equivalent, and certification as a CT Technologist.
  • Skills and Abilities: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and knowledge of radiology and imaging procedures.
