Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Nurse Infection Control Lead to join our team at The Hire Method, LLC. This role is responsible for overseeing infection control and prevention programs to ensure the health and safety of residents and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver staff education programs to all staff
  • Perform rounds to identify potential hazards, monitor infection control practices, identify educational needs and evaluate compliance with standard and transmission based precautions
  • Comply with new hire screening, documentation and immunization reporting per state and federal regulatory requirements

Requirements:

  • Valid state nursing license (RN or LPN)
  • Degree in nursing, epidemiology, biology, microbiology
  • Infection Control and Prevention Certification is required prior to assuming the role
