Position Summary: The Advanced Maintenance Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring the operational efficiency of our plant equipment and facilities. This position involves a variety of responsibilities, including troubleshooting, repairing mechanical and electrical systems, and fabricating necessary equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute all tasks associated with Maintenance Level 1, alongside advanced maintenance duties.
  • Perform high-level welding and fabrication tasks, including MIG, TIG, and stick welding.
  • Demonstrate expertise in hydraulic and pneumatic systems, motors, and pumps.
  • Interpret and troubleshoot electrical systems, including reading schematics and working with various voltage levels.
  • Conduct effective troubleshooting on ammonia refrigeration systems.
  • Disassemble and inspect winery equipment for maintenance purposes, ensuring proper reassembly and testing.
  • Assist in the training of new maintenance staff and lead the maintenance team in the absence of supervisory personnel.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities and report progress to management.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and participate in safety management programs.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a maintenance mechanic role or equivalent.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical and ammonia systems, along with basic PLC understanding.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively communicate within a team environment.
  • Must possess valid certifications for forklift and aerial lift operation.
  • Proficient in basic computer applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and carry weights up to 55 lbs.
  • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Willingness to work with hazardous materials while adhering to safety standards.
