Position SummaryWe are currently seeking a Chemical Mixer to become an integral part of our Manufacturing team on 2nd Shift. The working hours for this role are from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare chemical mixtures in accordance with established batch cards and mixing protocols.
- Perform routine cleaning of mixing equipment as per the prescribed work instructions.
- Ensure the quality and consistency of mixes, taking necessary actions if deviations occur.
- Support the training of new team members and assist with other production lines as required.
- Utilize computer systems and operate lift trucks; must be capable of following both verbal and written instructions.
- Physical requirements include continuous standing and walking, occasional lifting/pushing/pulling of up to 65 pounds, and climbing for equipment maintenance.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and suggest improvements to enhance workplace safety.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area at all times.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned.
The pay range for this position is between $22 - $26, commensurate with experience and skill level, plus a $0.50 Shift Differential for 2nd shift.
Qualifications- High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- 3-4 years of experience in batch mixing, preferably in the hand cleaner or similar industry.
- Proficient in computer usage and experienced in operating fork trucks.
