Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Management
- Assist the Director of Nursing in directing, coordinating, and supervising the Nursing Services Department.
- Schedule and assign nursing staff as needed for the department.
- Patient Care
- Responsible for maintaining the standards of nursing care and practices within the facility to meet the needs of our patients and their families.
- Support nursing staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees.
- Documentation and Communication
- Maintain documentation of patient care services.
- Provide information to patients and healthcare team.
- Degree from an accredited school of nursing.
- Current and valid license as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the state of New York required.
- Minimum of 3-5 years LPN experience required.
- Strong assessment skills and interpersonal skills.
- Education or experience in long-term care or geriatric nursing is preferred.
- Must be flexible, punctual, professional, and reliable.
- Strong customer service skills and compassion.
