LPN Supervisor

We are seeking a skilled LPN Supervisor to join our team at Absolut Care of Gasport. As a key member of our nursing department, you will be responsible for supervising unit employees, working closely with RNs, and ensuring the best possible functions of assigned units. Responsibilities:
* Supervise and coordinate the activities of nursing staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care
* Work closely with RNs to ensure the best possible functions of assigned units
* Assist the Director of Nursing in directing, coordinating, and supervising the Nursing Services Department
* Scheduling and assigning nursing staff as needed for the department
* Responsible for maintaining the standards of nursing care and practices within the facility to meet the needs of our residents and their families
Requirements:
* Degree from an accredited school of nursing
* Current and valid license as a LPN in the state of New York required
* A minimum of 1-year LPN/supervisory experience required
* Must have strong assessment skills as well as interpersonal skills
* Education or experience in long-term care or geriatric nursing is preferred
* Must be flexible, punctual, professional, and reliable
* Strong customer service skills and compassion
* Basic computer knowledge, PCC e-MAR experience preferred
