Aircraft Technical Support Manager

ES3 is seeking a skilled Technical Support Manager to oversee various support tasks, including workflow management, aircraft maintenance and modification planning, parts list development, and configuration control from technical data. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of aircraft technical data systems, excellent leadership and training skills, and the ability to problem-solve in a fast-paced environment.
This role requires a self-starter with good time management skills, adaptability, and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. The successful candidate will also possess knowledge of common sheet metal operations, manufacturing processes, and the ability to read and understand detailed drawings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage workflows and create structured plans for aircraft maintenance and modification
- Develop and maintain parts lists and configuration control from technical data
- Lead teams and train individuals on aircraft repair and modification
- Assist with sheet metal tasks, structural modification, and repair
- Support the design and prototyping of tooling and fixtures for aircraft components
- Assist with aircraft component and hardware procurement
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in a technical field
- 10+ years of related experience
- Aircraft structural research experience
- Development of workflow plans for repair and modification
- Creation of work control documents
- Support the design and prototyping of tooling and fixtures for aircraft components
- Assist with aircraft component and hardware procurement
