Job Summary

The Laboratory Courier/Lead is a critical role at Labtech Diagnostics LLC, responsible for transporting specimens from physician offices, collection centers, and nursing homes to our laboratory. This position requires a high level of attention to detail, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transport specimens to the laboratory in a timely and efficient manner
  • Ensure all specimens are properly labeled and stored at the correct temperature
  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients and colleagues
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the warehouse and vehicles
  • Assist with the coordination of courier routes and schedules
  • Supervise and train new couriers on laboratory policies and procedures
  • Perform daily vehicle checks and maintain a clean and safe driving record
Requirements
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required
  • A clean 10-year driving record and current driver's license
  • Visual and auditory acuteness, with the ability to sit for long periods and perform kneeling, bending, and lifting up to 10 lbs
