High-Tech Diesel Mechanic Specialist

The ideal candidate will possess strong diagnostic skills and be able to effectively communicate with colleagues and customers. A Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is preferred, but not required. ASE certifications are also beneficial. We offer a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits including 15 days of paid time off, 4 medical plan options, 401(k) with an employer match, paid holidays, and an Employee Assistance Program.
Job Description- Diagnose and repair diesel and CNG vehicles to ensure they are in safe and continuous operating condition.
- Complete basic inspections of brake systems, engine components, emission systems, steering mechanisms, wheel bearings, and other important parts.
- Test drive trucks to diagnose malfunctions and ensure proper functioning.
- Perform standard electronic diagnostics and repair electrical equipment and hydraulic systems.
- Conduct DOT and brake inspections on all vehicles.
- Knowledge of DOT, OSHA, and other related state and federal regulations.
- Ability to communicate effectively across various levels of the organization and with customers and external vendors.
- Experience using diagnostic software is preferred.
