About the Role:

Vulcan Materials Company is a leading producer of construction aggregates and a major producer of aggregates-based construction materials. We are seeking a skilled Mobile Equipment Technician to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote a culture of safety throughout the operation, prioritizing the well-being of yourself and others at all times.
  • Repair and maintain mobile equipment to maximize performance and minimize downtime.
  • Inspect equipment and materials to identify and troubleshoot errors, performing repairs as needed.
  • Handle and move objects safely throughout the shop and plant.
  • Document and record information accurately, including service reports for mobile equipment.
  • Operate equipment as needed to ensure efficient production.
  • Perform general physical activities, including climbing, lifting, and handling materials.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working on diesel or heavy construction equipment is preferred.
  • Knowledge of general principles and practices of servicing heavy construction equipment is preferred.
  • Flexibility to work overtime and extended hours, as well as tolerate exposure to loud noises and varying weather conditions.
  • Mechanical skills, including knowledge of industrial tools and their maintenance.
