Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Test Technician to join our team at Cummins Inc. in Stoughton, WI. As a Test Technician, you will be responsible for preparing test articles for testing, installing instrumentation, and assisting in testing according to established procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare test articles for testing, including initial build and final teardown.
  • Install instrumentation into test articles per relevant engineering standards.
  • Assist in testing in accordance with established test procedures and methodology.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of the function of test equipment and its contribution to the validity of test results.
  • Perform test stand installation, troubleshooting, and setups, as well as the upkeep and maintenance of laboratory equipment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent experience.
  • Intermediate-level knowledge obtained through training or on-the-job experience.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex problems.
  • Basic knowledge of Diesel Engines and Aftertreatment Components.
  • Basic knowledge of computers and computer programs.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite programs.
  • Ability to multitask many projects or assignments at the same time.
