Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Engine Specialist to join our team at Cummins. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for preparing test articles for testing, installing instrumentation, and assisting in testing according to established procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble test articles according to test requirements, including installation of instrumentation.
  • Interpret test equipment specifications and select appropriate equipment for testing.
  • Prepare documentation of testing methods, instrument settings, and data analysis.
  • Make good and timely decisions to keep the organization moving forward.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent experience.
  • Intermediate-level knowledge of diesel engines and aftertreatment components.
  • Basic knowledge of computers and computer programs.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite programs.
  • Ability to multitask and troubleshoot complex problems.
