Job Description Qualifications:

The Boeing Missile & Systems Operations team presents an exciting opportunity for a Logistics Operations Specialist to become part of our Production Operations team.

The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) organization is seeking a dedicated professional to thrive in a fast-paced production environment, aligning the Operations Team with Program Leadership, customer representatives, and cross-functional partners to eliminate obstacles and stabilize workflows.
Position Responsibilities:


Utilize technical expertise, process flow comprehension, and networking abilities to ensure timely resolution of issues by the appropriate support organization. Conduct evaluations of processes and practices against relevant standards and criteria.

Analyze and interpret data while providing constructive feedback on evaluation outcomes. Assist teams in identifying recurring and significant issues, support root cause analysis, and develop corrective action plans to address these challenges. Facilitate ongoing coordination and tracking of outstanding items while offering guidance and mentorship to less experienced colleagues. The Logistics Operations Specialist operates under general supervision and is expected to work onsite.


Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

- Over 1 year of experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, and SharePoint
- More than 1 year of experience in a Manufacturing Operations setting
- Over 1 year of experience in data collection, analysis, interpretation, and project management
- More than 1 year of experience in implementing lean methodologies and enhancing productivity.


Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Familiarity with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MESci)
- Experience in the Aerospace & Defense sector and/or military
- Experience engaging with senior and executive leadership
- Proficiency in using Shipside Action Tracker.


Typical Education / Experience:

Education and experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g., Bachelor's degree) and generally 3 or more years of related work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.


Security Clearance and Export Control Requirements:
This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance, which necessitates US Citizenship.
