Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage incoming calls and coordinate appointment scheduling.
  • Respond to inquiries, redirect calls as necessary, and assist callers with their concerns.
  • Welcome patients upon arrival and oversee their waiting experience.
  • Conduct check-in and check-out procedures, including verifying insurance and processing necessary documentation.
  • Collect co-payments and issue receipts while managing the cashier's operations in accordance with company policies.
  • Facilitate the processing of walk-in patients and visitors.
  • Maintain and organize medical records, ensuring proper filing and scanning.
  • Handle correspondence related to medical records requests and maintain appropriate logs.
  • Establish and nurture effective working relationships with patients, colleagues, and the public.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned, including maintaining the coffee and water station for patients.
  • Assist in keeping communal areas tidy and organized.
  • May require occasional local travel for meetings or to support other clinic locations.

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED (or higher).
  • Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with general office procedures.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.
  • Experience in a medical office setting.
Soft Skills:
Excellent communication and customer service skills, both in-person and over the phone.
