The Registered Nurse will provide high-quality patient care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosing, planning, implementation, and evaluation. This role requires collaboration with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver patient care through the nursing process, ensuring patient safety and well-being.
  • Collaborate with the multi-disciplinary treatment team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Maintain a safe and therapeutic milieu, utilizing de-escalation techniques as needed.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families, promoting health and wellness.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the advancement of nursing practice and patient care.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing, BSN preferred.
  • Licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as a Registered Nurse (RN) required.
  • BLS certification required.
  • De-escalation training required within 30 days of hire or transfer into department.
  • Prior psychiatric and geriatric nursing experience preferred.
