Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Academic Pediatric Hematologist/Oncologist to join our team at the University of California-Davis. As a key member of our Department of Pediatrics, Division of Pediatric Hematology-Oncology, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care, conducting clinical and translational research, and participating in the institution's research/scholarly mission.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care for children, adolescents, and young adults with solid tumors, focusing on clinical and translational research on developmental therapeutics, clinical trials, and pediatric adolescent and young adult cancers.
  • Participate in the institution's research/scholarly mission, either as a collaborator or as an intellectual leader of clinically-oriented research projects.
  • Collaborate with other departments and institutions to advance the field of pediatric hematology-oncology.
  • Develop and implement new research projects, protocols, and procedures to improve patient outcomes and advance the field.
Requirements
  • MD or DO degree
  • Completed fellowship in pediatric hematology-oncology
  • Board certified/eligible in pediatrics and pediatric hematology-oncology
  • Eligible for licensure in the State of California
  • Proven excellence in clinical care, teaching, and translational research
