Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced EMT to join our team as a Security/EMT. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our residents and staff. This is a unique opportunity to work in a wonderful environment and make a real difference in the lives of our senior residents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Respond to emergency calls and provide quality emergent care to residents

• Conduct regular fire and security inspections to identify potential hazards and improve response plans

• Patrol community premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure the security of doors, windows, equipment, and vehicles

• Respond to fire alarms and accompany the fire department throughout the facility

• Monitor and adjust controls that regulate building systems such as air conditioning, heating, or boiler

• Complete reports of daily activities and irregularities such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED required, graduate of accredited technical school preferred

• Minimum of 3 to 5 years as EMT required

• Valid driver's license required

• EMT Basic or Advanced EMT and CPR certifications required, Life Safety training preferred
