Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and empathetic Client Support Educator to join our Community Residences team. As a Client Support Educator, you will play a crucial role in supporting individuals with developmental disabilities in their daily lives, fostering a culture of respect, empathy, and inclusivity.

Responsibilities
  • Foster a supportive and inclusive environment that promotes client autonomy and self-expression.
  • Develop and implement tailored plans of care that cater to client needs, preferences, and goals.
  • Support clients with daily living tasks, such as meal preparation, hygiene, and household management.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to administer medications according to agency policies and regulations.
  • Document client progress, reporting any notable events or concerns to supervisors and medical professionals.

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in human services or a related field preferred.
  • At least two years of experience in human services or a related field, preferably in residential settings.
  • Valid CT driver's license and reliable transportation necessary.
