Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive IT risk evaluations by aligning with business goals, internal controls, and technological infrastructure.
  • Design and execute assessment strategies for emerging technologies and processes.
  • Utilize compliance tools and analytics proficiently.
  • Perform audit activities across various technologies and IT functions within the organization.
  • Oversee the evaluation of the design and operational effectiveness of internal IT controls.
  • Lead the formulation and execution of IT Compliance policies and procedures.
  • Manage and coordinate IT audit timelines, collaborating with relevant teams to ensure audit readiness.
  • Identify and enhance operational efficiencies and adapt auditing processes as necessary.
  • Assess controls aimed at preventing or detecting fraudulent activities, including management overrides.
  • Effectively communicate audit findings and recommendations to management, both verbally and in writing.
  • Prepare and present audit results as required.
  • Facilitate meetings and presentations with stakeholders as necessary.
  • Stay informed about changes in relevant laws, regulations, and standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, Finance, or a related field, along with 8 years of relevant experience; equivalent experience may substitute for degree requirements.
  • Exceptional customer service, analytical, and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Strong organizational and project management capabilities.
  • Familiarity with data privacy regulations and best practices.
  • Ability to independently resolve issues and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in using personal computers and various software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
  • Experience with established audit frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST 800, COBIT, COSO).

This position is part of the Information Technology department.
