Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive IT risk evaluations by aligning with business goals, internal controls, and technological infrastructure.
- Design and execute assessment strategies for emerging technologies and processes.
- Utilize compliance tools and analytics proficiently.
- Perform audit activities across various technologies and IT functions within the organization.
- Oversee the evaluation of the design and operational effectiveness of internal IT controls.
- Lead the formulation and execution of IT Compliance policies and procedures.
- Manage and coordinate IT audit timelines, collaborating with relevant teams to ensure audit readiness.
- Identify and enhance operational efficiencies and adapt auditing processes as necessary.
- Assess controls aimed at preventing or detecting fraudulent activities, including management overrides.
- Effectively communicate audit findings and recommendations to management, both verbally and in writing.
- Prepare and present audit results as required.
- Facilitate meetings and presentations with stakeholders as necessary.
- Stay informed about changes in relevant laws, regulations, and standards.
- Enhance knowledge of regulations and emerging technologies continuously.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior staff members.
- Ensure adherence to QA/QC processes.
- Comply with organizational and site-specific safety policies.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Adhere to all company policies and standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, Finance, or a related field, along with 8 years of relevant experience; equivalent experience may substitute for degree requirements.
- Exceptional customer service, analytical, and troubleshooting abilities.
- Strong organizational and project management capabilities.
- Familiarity with data privacy regulations and best practices.
- Ability to independently resolve issues and make informed decisions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in using personal computers and various software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
- Experience with established audit frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST 800, COBIT, COSO).
This position is part of the Information Technology department.
