About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Direct Support Professional to join our team at Beacon Specialized Living Services, Inc. As a Direct Support Professional, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities and mental health needs to live their fullest lives.

Responsibilities
  • Provide opportunities for residents to meet their goals and objectives.
  • Adhere to person-centered plans and behavior plans as written for each resident.
  • Ensure a safe and healthy environment, free from harm, while upholding the rights of all residents.
  • Build trust and relationships with residents, creating a supportive and inclusive atmosphere.
  • Prepare and serve meals according to dietary specifications and needs.
  • Transport residents to appointments, advocate on their behalf, and obtain necessary documentation.
  • Assist with laundry and facility maintenance as needed.
  • Administer medications to residents as required.
  • Remain awake and accessible in all homes requiring 24/7 care.
Qualifications and Advancement Opportunities

We offer a leveling system, allowing you to advance every 90 days, with opportunities for increased compensation and professional growth. Our Leadership, Excellence, Advancement, and Promotion program provides tools, resources, and mentorship to help you succeed in your career as a frontline hero.

  • 3-4 day work week with 12.5-hour shifts
