Project Engineer I

Description
Occupational Summary: As a Project Engineer I at Booth & Associates, LLC, you will perform a variety of routine tasks that provide experience and familiarity with engineering staff, methods, practices, and programs. You will work under close supervision but are expected to have some level of independence with required engineering tasks.Requirements
Position Requirements Include:- Assist in the development of plans, specifications, and inspection reports.
- Assist in the preparation of material lists and labor contracts.
- Assist with the preparation of substation designs and construction drawings.
- Perform basic administration of material purchases and construction contracts.
- Provide direction to designers and CAD operators on your assigned team.
- Interact with customers and vendors to a small degree.
- Develop some proficiency in a single area of substation engineering, such as physical layout design, protection/control design, relay settings programming, field support, substation commissioning, or relay testing.
- Perform basic functions of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Maintain a strong ability to interface with employees at all levels.
- Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein.
