Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled EKG Technician to join our team at Trinity Health. As an EKG Technician, you will be responsible for performing electrocardiograms, stress testing, and other diagnostic procedures to help our patients receive the best possible care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform electrocardiograms, including adenosine stress, dobutamine stress studies, treadmill stress testing, and holter monitoring/event monitoring hook-ups according to standard protocol.
  • Edit clinical information accurately and according to physician interpretation.
  • Charge testing appropriately and maintain daily records according to standard protocol.
  • Communicate procedures to patients in a professional manner.
Requirements
  • High school diploma required.
  • Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers certification from either AHA, ARC, or the Military Training Network is required at hire in all units, unless currently certified in ACLS and/or PALS.
  • Previous knowledge of EKGs preferred.
  • Medical terminology preferred.
