Overview

The EEG/EKG Technician plays a vital role in our healthcare team, working under the supervision of the Director to perform various diagnostic tests, including Electroencephalogram (EEG), Visual Evoked Potential (VEP), Somatosensory Evoked Potentials (SEP), Electrocardiogram (EKG), Holter Monitor hook-up and scanning, Signal Averaged EKG (SAECG), and Stress Testing.

Responsibilities
  • Charge, log, and archive procedures
  • Operate various office equipment, including a computer, fax machine, and printer
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and efficient testing
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Less than one year of experience
  • BLS Basic Life Support certification within 3 months of hire
  • Basic Arrhythmia course certification within 6 months of hire
Preferred Qualifications
  • Completion of EKG and EEG training courses/seminars
  • Previous healthcare experience
