Job Responsibilities:

  1. Assume primary responsibility for overseeing shifts in designated work areas, ensuring adherence to performance standards and service quality.
  2. Monitor and guide work activities, assisting management in training staff on proper techniques and equipment usage.
  3. Engage in various food preparation and service tasks, including operating food production equipment and managing point-of-sale transactions.
  4. Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring food is served at the correct temperature and in accordance with established procedures.
  5. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in assigned areas, including the clearing of soiled dishes and proper disposal of waste.
  6. Ensure availability of supplies and equipment, reporting any malfunctions or needs for repair.
  7. Perform additional duties as required to support the overall operation of the food service department.

Qualifications:

Education: A partial high school education is generally required to follow instructions effectively.

Experience: A minimum of eighteen months in food preparation or service is required. Equivalent combinations of relevant education and experience may be considered.

Physical Requirements: The role may involve heavy lifting and the operation of dishwashing machinery.
