Key Responsibilities
  • Originate and process mortgage loans, ensuring timely and accurate completion of loan applications
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring client satisfaction
  • Meet or exceed sales and production goals, consistently delivering high-quality results
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, regulatory requirements, and product offerings to provide expert advice to clients
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including underwriting, processing, and closing, to ensure seamless loan processing
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including RESPA, Regulation Z, and Fair Lending
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred; college degree desired
  • Minimum of three years' recent work experience as a full-time Mortgage Loan Officer in the banking industry
  • Excellent customer service skills, written and oral communication skills, and ability to demonstrate control, flexibility, and maintain quality and high productivity when dealing with customers and changing work demand
  • Intermediate computer skills, including MS Office and mortgage loan applications/software
  • Encompass experience desired
