This role can be performed remotely in the state of Georgia, and a current active NMLS license is required. The successful candidate will assist borrowers in determining the proper loan program, complete loan applications, and gather necessary paperwork to begin the loan process. They will also communicate with various stakeholders, including appraisers, title officers, escrow officers, loan processors, and underwriters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Originate mortgage loans from self-generated efforts, corporate relationship referrals, and other campaigns.
  • Interview applicants to develop information regarding their goals and determine the appropriate products, terms, and pricing.
  • Collect necessary client documents and analyze income, assets, and credit for mortgage loan applications.
  • Take applications, conduct preliminary reviews, and submit complete loan applications to processing and underwriting for approval.
  • Ensure documents required for processing, underwriting, and closing are secured in a timely manner during origination.
  • Take initiative to conduct daily marketing efforts to generate 4+ loans per month.
  • Answer incoming calls and assist with customer inquiries.
  • Achieve team and individual sales/production goals and objectives.

Requirements

  • NMLS License.
  • 3-5 Years outside loan originator experience.
  • High School degree required, Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to stay organized and manage multiple loans/priorities at the same time.
  • Ability to analyze and comprehend complex financial data.
  • Professional and effective interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to meet the required hours of operation.
  • Self-Motivated.
  • Works in a highly ethical manner in any and all dealings with colleagues, clients, and partners.
