Donor Floor Technician

Are you looking for a challenging and rewarding role that allows you to make a real difference in people's lives? As a Donor Floor Technician at Octapharma Plasma, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient collection of plasma from donors.
Key Responsibilities:- Compliance and Quality: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and company-specific regulations related to product quality, employee and donor safety, and day-to-day activities.
- Donor Support: Review donor records for accuracy and completeness, label and ensure each unit and samples are labeled accurately, and maintain proper ratios to ensure donor safety and quality of product.
- Equipment Maintenance: Set up and prepare equipment and disposable supplies for venipuncture and plasmapheresis procedures, operate automated plasmapheresis machines, and perform calibration/maintenance.
- Donor Care: Monitor donors for any reactions, maintain awareness of donor safety, and ensure proper sanitation and cleaning of equipment and work area between donors.
- Communication: Ensure donor confidentiality, meet customer service expectations, and greet and acknowledge donors as they are assigned to donation area and after completing donation process.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required.
- Experience: Minimum 1 year experience in laboratory or warehouse environment.
- Skills: Highly organized and detail-oriented, demonstrates consistency and reliability, and able to lift up to thirty-five pounds.
