About the Role

Premier Outdoor Installations, Inc. is seeking a skilled construction worker to join our team. As a key member of our installation team, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality playground installations that inspire creativity and promote physical activity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in site preparation, including excavation, grading, and drainage, to ensure a safe and stable installation environment.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications to ensure accurate installation of playground equipment.
  • Assemble, install, and anchor playground structures, swings, slides, and other components according to manufacturer guidelines.
  • Collaborate with project managers, designers, and other team members to ensure quality and timely completion of projects.
  • Operate construction equipment and tools, such as drills, saws, and compactors, in a safe and effective manner.
  • Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of equipment to ensure safety and functionality.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including proper disposal of materials and debris.
  • Follow all directions of the construction manager and work with other team members to complete construction projects accurately.
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment as needed to support the installation process.
  • Assist sub-contractors, tradesmen, and craft workers as needed to ensure a smooth installation process.
  • Load, unload, and transfer tools and building materials as required.
  • Remove debris and hazardous materials to keep the job site safe and clean, meeting safety regulations and OSHA requirements.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in construction or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of construction techniques, tools, and materials.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications.
  • Experience operating construction equipment and machinery preferred.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • OSHA 10 certification is required.
  • Able to work in inclement weather, including extreme temperatures and rain.
