About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Associate Attorney to join our team at Law Offices of John Mangan, P.A. as a key member of our Estate Planning and Probate Law department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Communicate effectively with clients and other counsel and advisors to provide exceptional legal services
  • Draft and/or review documents and pleadings, including trust-based estate plans and formal administration probate cases
  • Filing pleadings and attending court hearings as necessary
  • Oversee the process of trust funding and serve as the lead attorney on complex cases
Requirements
  • Member in good standing of The Florida Bar
  • Substantial experience in Estate Planning, Probate, and Trust Administration, with a focus on drafting trust-based estate plans and acting as attorney of record in formal administration probate cases
  • Complex expertise in estate planning, including charitable trusts, irrevocable trusts, SLATs, ILITs, GRATs, QPRTs, etc.
  • LLM in taxation or estate planning and/or Board Certification is strongly desired
  • Experience in Elder Law and/or Guardianship is helpful but not required
  • Strong research and writing skills, excellent organizational skills, and ability to provide oversight and guidance to associates and other legal staff
