Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Ultrasound/Vascular Technologist to join our team as a Lead Technologist. This role will be responsible for performing specialized functions, serving as a liaison between management, staff, and physicians, and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures, including common and special US exams, and vascular ultrasound exams.
  • Provide direct assistance to physicians during diagnostic procedures, including assisting with sterile technique.
  • Serve as a liaison between team members, management, and physicians, resolving routine matters for the shift and modality.
  • Assist physicians during procedures and provide accurate explanations and instructions to patients and family members.
  • Conduct quality audits on equipment, processes, outcomes, and team member performance, and document, develop, and evaluate processes and procedures.
Requirements
  • Four years' experience as an Ultrasound Technologist, or three years' experience with leadership abilities.
  • RDMS-OB, RDMS-AB, RDMS-BR, ARRT-SON, ARRT-VS, RVS, RVT, or BLS certification.
  • Ability to work independently, handle challenging diagnostic procedures and patient care situations, and demonstrate sound judgment and clinical skills.
  • Strong interpersonal, teamwork, and leadership skills, with the ability to adapt to multiple ongoing priorities and participate in problem-solving.
