YOUR POSITION:

The Vice President of Analytics Strategy will oversee the strategic planning and execution of digital measurement solutions across RAPP client projects, offering consultation and technical expertise to achieve tracking and analytics implementation objectives. This role requires balancing leadership duties with deep knowledge in tracking frameworks, standards, and best practices for martech platforms, including analytics and digital media. At RAPP, Analytics Enablement operates at the crossroads of analytics and technology, ensuring thorough marketing measurement in a privacy-conscious, cookieless environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead the Analytics Enablement team in developing tracking frameworks and validating measurement methodologies across RAPP client and agency projects.
  • Engage directly with clients, partners, and agency colleagues, communicating effectively to inspire confidence while maintaining a documentation-first approach.
  • Draft statements of work, scope documents, and project resource hour estimates; contribute to agency business development efforts.
  • Manage personnel to promote team development and talent retention.
  • Design tracking frameworks for client initiatives and campaigns, creating flow diagrams and technical specifications to enable tracking, analysis, and optimization of both digital and offline interactions.
  • Educate clients and agency colleagues on industry developments related to analytics and data privacy, including the cookieless future and relevant privacy frameworks.
  • Establish and maintain campaign naming conventions and taxonomies.
  • Conduct assessments of client marketing and technology ecosystems, business objectives, and personnel resources.
  • Provide guidance on CRM and email marketing measurement utilizing tools such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Litmus Email Analytics.
  • Advise on digital media tracking based on experience with various advertising platforms.
  • Consult on tag management implementation and validation through platforms like Google Tag Manager and Adobe Launch.
  • Promote the Analytics Enablement discipline and objectives to new and existing clients, as well as cross-disciplinary leadership peers in other RAPP offices to identify new opportunities and encourage widespread adoption.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 10-15 years of experience in analytics and technology, with at least 5 years in Advertising, Marketing, Analytics, or Digital Media firms managing multiple clients.
  • Proven experience in leading an agency team, fostering talent retention, providing growth opportunities, and resolving personnel challenges.
  • Experience in drafting scope documents, including statements of work and milestone roadmaps.
  • Proficiency in implementing and configuring systems for web and app analytics, reporting, and A/B testing.
  • Familiarity with tag management systems to support the deployment of analytics tracking tags.
  • Experience with Google Analytics 4 and Adobe Analytics.
  • Knowledge of enterprise taxonomy management tools.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to ongoing education in the marketing landscape.
  • Excellent presentation and public speaking abilities.
  • Strong management skills with a track record of talent development and superb interpersonal communication.
