Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a highly skilled Special Inspector to join their team in the NW region. As a Special Inspector, you will be responsible for performing various testing, project-specific observations, and inspection duties under general supervision.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate testing equipment and conduct testing, including soil, concrete, and other materials
  • Provide assessment of data through reporting
  • Work with drawings, specifications, and diagrams to ensure compliance
  • Use specific methods to observe site activities and perform tasks
  • Read and interpret plans and specifications
  • Maintain and calibrate standard equipment
  • Adhere to safety practices and policies to ensure personal safety and the safety of others
Requirements:
  • 1+ years of inspection experience
  • One or more of the following certifications: ICC certification - reinforced concrete, ICC Commercial Building Inspector, WABO Wood Framing, ODOT CDT, and/or ODOT QCT
  • Ability to read and understand work plans
  • Valid driver's license
  • Able to pass a drug and background test
  • Civil inspection experience
  • Previous work experience at Terracon, Mayes, Otto, MTC, Krazan, CTL, or Claire null
