The Ethics and Compliance Analyst will report to the Director of the Office of Ethics and play a crucial role in the management of the Corporate Ethics and Compliance Programs. This includes conducting investigations, overseeing database administration, performing investigative research, and ensuring adherence to regulatory and industry standards concerning data privacy. The Analyst will also collaborate with various teams across the organization to provide essential support for data privacy initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute thorough investigations into reports of potential ethical breaches, including but not limited to conflicts of interest, fraud, discrimination, and harassment.
  • Collect evidence through interviews, document examinations, data analysis, and other investigative methods to assess the legitimacy of reported issues.
  • Draft Investigation Summaries to support findings and present them to the Director, Office of Ethics and Chief Compliance Officer (CCO) for evaluation.
  • Collaborate with Labor Relations and Employee Relations (LR/ER) teams during investigations.
  • Update the Director, Office of Ethics & CCO on the progress of investigations.
  • Maintain comprehensive files and notes related to investigations.
  • Document investigation materials in the Ethics database as necessary.
  • Engage with Stakeholders (Legal, LR/ER, Ethics, HR, etc.) regarding investigation outcomes.
  • Establish and uphold data privacy frameworks and standards.
  • Conduct data privacy impact assessments and audits.
  • Design and deliver training programs and materials to enhance employee awareness of data privacy requirements and best practices.
  • Work alongside cross-functional teams to implement data protection strategies.
  • Provide expert guidance on data privacy best practices and compliance obligations.
  • Participate in and assist with the facilitation of data privacy meetings to address privacy and security incidents as needed.
Required Qualifications:
  • Legally authorized to work in the job posting country
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 4 or more years of experience in ethics or HR investigations
  • 4 or more years of experience in data privacy roles
  • Exceptional communication (verbal/written) and interpersonal skills

  • Discretion, integrity, and objectivity in managing sensitive and confidential information
  • Proactive self-starter who can work independently while also collaborating effectively within a global team
  • A learning mindset with the ability to tackle new challenges, seek solutions, and ask pertinent questions

  • Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP) certification preferred or willingness to obtain certification
  • Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) certification or willingness to obtain certification
  • Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP) credential or willingness to obtain certification
