We are seeking a highly skilled Packaging Engineer II to join our Amazon Robotics team. As a key member of our operations organization, you will be responsible for developing and implementing packaging solutions that drive efficiency, cost savings, and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the development of packaging concepts with preferred vendors and suppliers.
- Coordinate packaging performance testing, qualifications, and validations per ISTA standards.
- Scope new technology and opportunities in the packaging space.
- Own business roadmap, including commodity management, procurement, budgeting, and vendor qualification.
- Plan and direct activities concerned with packaging design and development.
- 3+ years of product management experience.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams to deliver projects on tight deadlines.
- Experience developing operational processes and technologies.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or related discipline.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience performing financial or quantitative analyses.
- Experience building and analyzing cost/benefit scenarios and business cases.
- Understanding of Automotive Returnable Packaging Systems.
- Knowledge of Artios CAD packaging design software suite.
