Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver healthcare services to patients both in-person and through telemedicine, adhering to established clinical practices.
  • Support and supervise Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) at the clinic, ensuring high-quality patient care.
  • Conduct comprehensive medical evaluations, including history and physical examinations, to assess patients' fitness for work.
  • Provide medical recommendations regarding job accommodations to ensure safe work practices.
  • Interpret radiographic images to identify pre-existing conditions affecting employment.
  • Engage in the workers' compensation process, including providing expert testimony when necessary.
  • Perform evaluations to determine fitness for duty and manage various occupational injuries.
Clinical Duties
  • Evaluate and treat common workplace injuries, including musculoskeletal conditions and acute trauma.
  • Document patient interactions thoroughly, ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations.
  • Administer first aid and prescribe necessary treatments, including medications and referrals for specialized care.
  • Communicate effectively with employers regarding treatment plans and patient capabilities.

Qualifications
  • MD/DO with a focus on Occupational Medicine preferred; candidates with backgrounds in Urgent Care, Family Practice, Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Sports Medicine, or Orthopedics are encouraged to apply.
  • FMCSA certification for DOT examinations is preferred and must be obtained within a specified timeframe post-hire.
  • Current state medical licensure and DEA registration in good standing.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills, with proficiency in electronic medical records.
  • Bilingual in Spanish is advantageous.
