About the Role

The selected candidate will be responsible for assisting team members, physicians, and patients with various tasks, including data entry, answering phone calls, and clarifying physician orders. They will also maintain strong knowledge of pharmacy policies and government regulations, ensuring accurate entry of prescription information.

As a member of the A-Line Staffing Solutions team, the Pharmacy Technician will contribute to quality improvement initiatives, calculate doses needed for patients, and enter prescription information into the pharmacy dispensing system. They will also interact with patients and providers, answering phone calls and directing inquiries to the appropriate team or personnel.

This is an outstanding opportunity for a motivated individual to work with a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, 2+ years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician, and a valid Kentucky Pharmacy Technician license with no restrictions.

Responsibilities
  • Enter prescription information into the pharmacy dispensing system for pharmacist review.
  • Assist with quality improvement initiatives to ensure efficient and effective operations.
  • Calculate doses needed for patients based on prescription and prescribing guidelines.
  • Answer phone calls and direct inquiries to the appropriate team or personnel if needed.
