This role involves developing and recommending investments in equipment and automation, overseeing commissioning and acceptance of new equipment, and developing and adapting work instructions for automation systems.

Additionally, you will lead process optimization projects to enhance quality, safety, and cost-efficiency, plan for spare parts requirements, and manage orders.

You will also provide training for employees on equipment and processes, collaborate with cross-functional teams on complex projects and improvements, and provide supervision and mentorship for interns and bachelor students.

Requirements include a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering with 5+ years of relevant experience, hands-on problem-solving and technical writing skills, experience in project management, particularly with cross-functional teams, and strong knowledge of statistics and data-driven process improvement.

You should be skilled in reading electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics, familiar with MS Office and database management systems, and have knowledge of high-voltage electrical installations and IT-OT connections.

Experience with manufacturing and IATF standards, proficiency in automation software and systems, and the ability to develop and recommend investments in equipment and automation are also required.
