Job Title: Cloud Engineer Intern

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Cloud Engineer Intern to join our DRAM Engineering group at Micron Technology Inc.

As a Cloud Engineer Intern, you will be working with compute platforms in a datacenter environment, seeking out different failure mechanisms, predictability of those mechanisms, and their effect on the overall system environment.

You will also be supporting system-level DRAM validation, system characterization, and failure analysis as it pertains to the Cloud space and analysis of different DRAM architectures to improve correctability.

Your day-to-day functions may include:

  • Running and configuring diagnostic software
  • System debug
  • Designing experiments
  • Analyzing and interpreting data
  • Crafting custom tools
  • Communicating data to customers

We are looking for candidates with:

  • An interest in datacenter hardware, operations, and/or automation
  • The ability to work in a diverse and collaborative team environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to peers and customers
  • Ambition and passion
  • Highly effective, tight-knit collaboration and teamwork skills
  • Adaptability to a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment with complex demands
  • Proficiency in one or more scripting or programming languages and experience in Linux operating systems

Education:

  • Pursuing a degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering
  • Open to all degree levels, but preference for bachelor's
  • Candidates must not graduate before September 2025
